    ~Claps~
Holly you have made a wonderful comeback girly.

Though you write of blank pages and the "writer's block sink" you have penned an amazing piece.

    Prose and stanza's
    cemented to my feet while
syllables crash around my floundering head
    ^^
I love this part .... it gives me imagery of letters of the alphabet raining from the sky.
    I do tend to have a wild imagination don't I ? .... lol

Looking so forward to reading more .... you will find your ink again dear friend. You just need a new pen!

    Excellent read Sis

I know the feeling..liked this read very much
    especially this part:

    Harbors are
    drifting on the horizon but
    I can't swim the distance

    Prose and stanza's
    cemented to my feet while
syllables crash around my floundering head.

As for a title..how about "Revived"
    Tale care.

Interesting topic for a comeback. I have u on my fav authors, so we must have communicated at some point in the distant past. I started in 2004, and 2007 and this year i have only averaged around 10 poems each year, so dont feel bad. Any way welcome back!

Oh yes! This is one of the best poems I've read in a long time. This is so amazing! You are very talented, Holly. With or without writers block you write beatiful, powerful poetry. Another perfect ending! ;o)

    Holly,
What a wonderful comeback. Great to see those creative juices flowing again.
This poem was remarkable to me because the effect writers block has on even the most passionate people that want to write, and can find nothing to say about anything. Great Job.

I always find it amusing when someone writes a great poem about writers block...I think you have overcome that dreaded disease! You could feel the elation building in the poem.....and then "the blank page" an excellent ending. Well done!

Very well written. This verse reminds me on how I feel. All these words, so beautiful and elegant in my mind but when I take the blank page, nothing seems to work for me.

    Prose and stanza's
    cemented to my feet while
syllables crash around my floundering head.

Congratulations on the win, very well deserverd! Even though you had writer's block, this poem was so beautiful and well-written.

    "My words descending
sweetly from the lips of this
melodic creature filling me with hope"

Excellent word choice, that really captivates the reader, and has their full attention, nice job.

    "Revived
    I tread the water
    with newfound determintation
    only to find....

this blank piece of paper staring back at me"

Good ending, leaves the reader wanting more. Take care, 5/5 from me. Keep writing, always and forever...
