Forsaken Angel

by Jessica   Oct 13, 2008

Once I was adored,
once I was loved.
People considered me,
the angel from above.

I always had a smile,
a frown was rare.
There was no pain,
love was always there.

Once considered beautiful,
once considered pure.
But when the time came,
I couldn't resist the devil's lure.

Now my heart is frozen,
and my wings turned black.
The fire is in my blood,
the mark is on my back.

This path I now take,
I chose on my own.
I close my eyes,
and hear the dreadful moans.

It's music to my ears,
the melody in my icy heart.
I watch as the pain I cause,
tears your world apart.

You could call me crazy,
you could call me insane.
But for what I have become,
I have only you to blame.

The Forsaken Angel,
is my name.
Death and destruction,
is my game.
