Polluted Generation

What's wrong with today's generation, the ads, the media, the parents, the kids... we are exposed to a fast pace life of media violence and female exposure, telling us what to do, how to act, influencing our every decision. These influences are pushing us beyond limits, to look thin, to be great, to kill innocent lives at school, to be everything they say we should; often corrupting ourselves in the process. Where does it end?

This is what she sees on MTV
Her waist is not as small as it should be
The toilet as her desperate solution
Robs her of her hopeful conclusion
As it rains her emotional pains
She thinks...

Is this what we call reality?
Cause to me all I see is problems in today society
Its tragedy, clear to see
Our generation's media reaction
Too much emotion, no self appreciation
Its today's polluted generation

There's a razor in his hand that takes away the pain
Of his alcoholic dad who drinks till he's insane
Cause he can't deal with the death of his wife
Who was shot while teaching that ended her life
As it rains their emotional pains
They think...

Is this what we call reality?
Cause to me all I see is problems in today society
Its tragedy, clear to see
Our generation's media reaction
Too much emotion, no self appreciation
Its today's polluted generation

The images on the TV screen
Has her dressing as if she was nineteen
At only twelve she lost her virginity
Cause the magazine said it was part of society
His first child at only fifteen
It's all a problem, what's happening?
As it rains their emotional pains
They think...

Is this what we call reality?
Cause to me all I see is problems in today society
Its tragedy, clear to see
Our generation's media reaction
Too much emotion, no self appreciation
Its today's polluted generation

Today's polluted generation
...
When does it end?
...
Today's polluted generation

Its time for a change, its time to turn around. Think about it...
