Sensations lost

by kiara   Oct 24, 2008

The sensation scratches at your door
Crying for you to open
Sheltered away, alone once more
Sinking with thoughts so broken

Your crimson lips meet dainty glass
And slur away tonights sins
The feelings pass
As a new numbness begins

Like a greedy child you grab for more
Suckling its sweet stupor
While hidden away from a war
Well arent you a trooper?

You want to let it in
You got to get it out
You feel the numbness go through your skin
As your lips tremble and let out a shout

So lost in isolation
Your mind is no longer secure
The world took away your only sensation
And liquid is all forever can endure
