Ringing Bells

by Krissymkitty   Oct 24, 2008

Bells ringing
People singing
The big day has finally
Arrived
He stands in his black tux
At the end of the red carpeted isle
Watching
Waiting to see his love

The first ladies come
With blue dresses
And their black suited
Men in hand
Flowing down the isle
Slowly
To slow for him
He wants
No, needs to see her
But, patient he is

The last couple make it
To the end then split
Seconds tick by
But it feels like hours
Then the piano starts again
And she came around the corner
Beautiful as ever
Now the wedding
Has begun

Those memories
Of that day
Are still fresh in their
Minds
But, now eighty nine
They are still in love
And later that night
When their asleep
They both slowly
Fade away
From this world
And into heaven
They will stay
Together forever...

This is a really touching and beautiful story of two in love. That the were happily married, still loved each other even when they grew up to be older, and went to Heaven together. Nice word choice and descriptions, a definite joy to read. Take care, 5/5 from me. Keep writing, always and forever...
