Nation so proud
that Nation was loud
in affirming the need for change:

Power has shifted
to a people uplifted,
elected a President

To resemble a Nation so gifted.

    Short but to the point. Your rhyme scheme is preasent through out the entire poem.

    My favorite line would have to be:
    Power has shifted

    The significance of this line is increadbly prominate. if this line wasent here your poem woudl defenatly be lacking

    I think I'd like this more if I was an American, you guys don't have such a great repuation in Australia.

    But this was short, simple, sweet and to the point. A lot of people Obama will bring great change, let's just hope it happens and it's for the better.
