Wow, Cindy. That was awesome. I loved the wording and style of it. I thought the emotion was strong and powerful and made me want to cry (Though everything does these days) i thought you did a brilliant jpb.
each and every word has so much emotion behind it, making the whole piece so sad.
As a poem its structure is such that the lines that you want to have maximum impact, do just that, they reach out and grabs your empathy and pulls it so hard.
I believe that all good poems should grab the reader, evoke their responses and make them think. This poem makes you think hard and makes you appreciate the good that we have in our lives and to never take it for granted, because life is precious and sadly too fragile.
Very very good job you really do a great job of making the reader feel your pain i really felt for you like it sounds so painful to go through and im sorry : / you wrote this poem very well though! 5/5
Your magical words has made every single reader's eyes wet. Simple things that we do in life and mostly end up taking for granted, all those has been mentioned with emotions and i am sure the true value will stay deep inside for a long time.
Great write dear, it deserves to be read by thousands.
You are simply awesome.
Very nice Cindy, I really enjoyed this piece. It automatically drew me to my aunt because it sounds so much like what she has been going through since my uncles passing last year. Thank you for sharing it, great job.
At times I feel you near me
The smell of your cologne hangs in the air
If the wind blows through the trees just right
I can almost hear your voice calling my name
How I miss that sound
No one can even begin to imagine the pain behind these words until they have lost a loved one. The smell that still lingers and the voice that still whispers. The feeling that pounds deep in the heart and yearns so terribly for the touch, the whisper of voice, the kiss and hug, the smile they loved so dearly.
My heart is with you through these times hun.
Believe !!! you will be together again.
Without God ... there is no heaven ... and I wholeheartedly BELIEVE there is a heaven and your John is there and you will be one again hun.
~Big hugs~ BELIEVE hun.
And when the days are long and the nights are even longer and you feel alone .... close your eyes and you will feel his arms wrapped tightly around you.
this has to be the most heart breaking poem i've read. and definitely one of your best. i'm still crying and i've read it about four times. i'm about to go read it again.
I feel your words, I hear your words, I see your words, I know your words, I know your voice.
Cindy you are a gentle soul, one who feels.
You still catch me off guard with your poetry like no other.
I truly hope you are well.
I have always and will hold dear kind thoughts of you.
5/5 for a heartfelt piece,
