Bubbles

by Searching for Guidance   Nov 13, 2008

Slowly they float, towards the moon they will rise.
Leaving that gleam in your eye, hypnotized.
Slowly you pant, out of breath, the chase ended.
The contentment you found in such things, we're befriended.
The smile lines around your eyes illuminated in the dark.
From them I catch a glimpse of your own inner spark.
Gaily you prance, oh how joyful your dance.
Leaving me yet, just a hope for romance.
Your hand feels so cold as it reaches for my wrist.
Feeling your touch sends me to my abyss.
My soul feels so happy, my voice undefined.
How can I speak in your presence divine?
You are my savior, yet remain unaware,
Of the bonded silence in which we now share.
You lie on the pavement, look up at the sky.
Leaving me to ponder the look in your eye.
If I should join you, would it all end?
I don't wish to cross that line labeled "friend."
But your enjoyment found in such simple things,
Makes me imagine a house, two kids, diamond rings.
How is it they spark this emotion in me?
Light, sticky, translucent, one can hardly see,
How they do float in a bonded kind of love.
So captivating the sight, as they soar up above.
Disappearing into the night, my friends have done it again,
Made me dream up a relationship and envision no end...
