Bohemian brains

by Iola   Nov 27, 2008

You feel safe in a space that is not yours
You fall asleep in the arms of a creature
You eat the main meal with no remorse
You fall in love with a prominent feature

He dances with the devil on the moon
He creeps under the silk of satin nights
He walks through the eye of a typhoon
He claims his return and knows his rights

You clench the claw of a monstrous man
You do not fear the shadows from behind
You turn the music louder because you can
You see more of your mind in a different kind

He clenches his teeth at her strange actions
He knows he will not know their actual root
He never questions all her new attractions
He sits silent whilst he chokes on her food

You move around the head of this newcomer
You sniff out the love in the heat of its skin
You think you smell the vibrations of summer
You have not got a clue or idea where to begin
