Endless Sleep

by Momentary Relapse   Dec 2, 2008

Slipping through the darkness
While the shadows fade away
A golden light crept into view
The dawn of another day

Crashing waves against the shore
Rocks ground and raise their heads
The crests tinged red at the start
Dancing away as the memory shreds

Finally sinking through the waves
As the sun rises above the ocean
Releasing breaths under cloudy surface
Rocked to sleep by the endless motion
