Rainbow

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Dec 18, 2008

Woo! My fist mixed/free style one in a while!

Everyone associates rainbows with big and fuffy and wonderful emotions of pure joy and love stuff...I decided to reverse it. >:]
---
Red is the blood I bleed from all my hurt.
Orange are the remains of my power in the dirt.
Yellow is the memory of happiness I once had
and green is the envy making me extremely mad.

Blue is the sorrow, the tears on my cheek.
Purple is the fog of confusion when I speak
Indigo is the depth of depression I own.
This rainbow is turning me into stone.

The rainbow of memories.
The rainbow of lies.
The rainbow of hatred
and the rainbow of cries.

The rainbow of confusion.
The rainbow of abuse.
The rainbow of anguish
and the rainbow of excuse.

This rainbow of sorrow, confusion, depression,
is taking all I've become and beginning its regression.
I can't take these colors, this thing in the sky.
I can't take this life when it only beckons to die.

Bring me an overcast day of gray.
Take this rainbow from me away.
Give me the sun, or give me the moon.
Take it away, and please take it soon.
