Rewind The Memories

by CourtneyyContageous   Dec 19, 2008

Let's rewind the memories
The feeling's left inside
Remembering, not when you left
But when you lived you're life

You were happy, carefree
Never had a frown upon your face
Nothing was wrong, everything was right
Slow, would never be your pace

'Always forgive, but never forget'
Are the words you'd always say
Never thought I'd have to use them
But now I do everyday

Remember when we'd have our talks?
You said I was too young to understand
But in good time, I'd heed your words
To me, you were nothing less than a man

I always look back when I get sad
To remember you're smiling eyes
Nothing now, can slow me down
You're memory, keeps me alive
