Aww this poem is so sweet.... i know where your coming from too my girl is 10 and everything is starting to go wrong... their always there and i think the day my dog dies will be one of the worst days of my life, im not the typical girl but i prefer a dog over diamonds so... anyways this was a great write and you made me remember that mine wont be here much longer either...

This poem really comes from the heart and really speaks out what you are felling. i hope that even when he drifts over that you never forget the good times. he really does seem like he's been a wonderful friend to you. I am sorry that things like this have to happen but it sounds like you were there for him too.
