His final farwell to the sun

by krystal   Dec 24, 2008

This was written to me not by me

Time has been passing, it's finally getting late.
A violet blanket is pulled over the sky.
The stars begin to twinkle, as if dancing in the moon light.
And there you, slowly fading over the horizon.
As if trying stay, trying not to let go.
But in the end, this is farewell.
Now we must say good night and let the moon take it's place.
I will miss the warmth of your touch on these cold dark nights.
And your gentle kiss in the breeze.
You've been good to me, and I've taken that for granted,
And as you pass, I want you to know.
I've loved like I've never loved before
and it's all thanks to you.
Maybe one day Ill be better.
Maybe one day you will see.
But for now I give my final farewell.
And ask that you remember me.
For I shall never forget you.
You are the reason I breath, the reason I wake.
And as you move on, You will still be my reason.
Farewell sweet sun, you will be missed
