Silence

Your arms are cold,
Don't hug me with them.
Outside is summer,
But, inside, such a cold winter...

If you don't wish to sleep,
Just turn off the lights.
I don't hear you weep,
And I know you think of someone else...

I can feel her presence,
Even when she ain't here.
I can see it your eyes,
When you see me you wish she was me...

Is this silence all that's left of us?
We don't even argue anymore...
You know my heart cries,
But, I can't take it any more.

It seems that our toothbrushes,
Are the only ones that love each other now.
There ain't happiness in this house
We've lost it all and I don't know how...

I really thought we'd last,
I really wanted and tried.
But, when all the love is gone,
we both know it's time to say
Goodbye....

    Awww this is a sad poem indeed i can feel the sad emotions that runs through the poem, each and every stanza was filled with sadness that you have describe from your his arms to your toothbrush.

    That is soo TRUE!! ;[ frickk, i miss JC, we just stopped talking all of a sudden and i always have the urge of calling him but i dont know. i dont want to be the one crying to him.
