Cross Crescent Candle

by Faithless   Jan 1, 2009

Shadow from a window cast a cross
Crescent moon witness stars shoots across
Darkness pierced by seven lighted candles
Intertwine regardless of symbols

Crimson colors all the chaos
Battle rages as coin is toss
Righteous movement all out in force
Origins of divinity from the same source

Cascading tears innocence lost
Priceless gems pays heavy cost
Middle fence powerless to enforce
repetitious cycle or run from course

Moments freeze bird's melody pause
Ponder upon guilt heart felt remorse
sweat wasted on unworthy tension
Seeds scattered motionless flatten

Bloodshed in the name of heaven
Confusion over faith's sermon
Ponds and rivers became stagnant
As mortals awaits their judgement
