I'm Not Changing

by Hawaiian Chick   Jan 4, 2009

You said that you would love me,
just the way I am.
But now that we're together,
I feel like we're a sham.

You want me to act differently
when we hang around your friends.
You said so many mean things,
when did your sweet talk end?

You want me to change my fashion,
you said you didn't like my shirt.
But my clothes make me who I am,
I like wearing sneakers with my skirt.

Those unique things you fell in love with,
are now what you want to change.
You said I dressed and acted beautifully,
now you're telling me I'm strange.

But I'm not changing for you,
you're not worth it anymore.
I miss myself now that you're here,
This one thing I am sure.

You're not worth my loving words,
my sincere and happy smile.
I need someone who loves me for me,
Good-bye my once loved Kyle.

    Hey, i really love it!!
It is so easy to read and is just an inspiration 4 the girls that always try to impress some guy by changing themselves.
    Nice work!!
