Sand in Your Eyes.

by She Is My Rain   Jan 6, 2009

I catch you staring at me
and I wonder if you realize
how badly I want you.

And when you look away,
it feels like you're looking away
forever

And honestly,
I can't say
I regret you.

I've come to terms
with the fact that
I never have and
never will.

I love you
and
I want you to be happy
even if that means
losing you.

You have your responsibilities,
and more at stake to lose.
What do I have,
but their trust to lose?

You ask me why,
and I can only say
that you're perfect.

I get lost
in your eyes,
your smile.

Somehow you turn
my darkest day,
bright again.

You're more beautiful
then you know.
And your heart,
even with the most
impure thought,
is one of the kindest
I've ever seen.

Temptations and thoughts
Aside,
you're nothing more then
Pure.

Add everything else,
and what can I say?
I'm speechless.

We've created a world,
where sometimes
the rules
just don't matter.

We've molded and shaped it
to fit our every need.

And sometimes,
without a hint or clue,
we wrap ourselves
in fear,
in our insecurities.

You think,
that I wont love you
when it's finally okay
for me to.

You say,
that sometimes
you regret this,
and that maybe
this should have
never happened.

You're dealing with
your demons,
and so am I.

I think,
that when you've had
enough,
you'll just leave.

No looking back.
And that's one of my
biggest fears.

I just don't
want you to think
that you have to
deal with me forever.

I don't want you
to feel that
I'm a burden on your
Life

But;

If you want
this to end,
tell me,
And I'm gone without a word.

If you want
me to stay,
tell me,
and I'll be
more then happy to.

Our worlds somehow
collided.
And now it seems
questions are forming;
Why? When?
What's going to happen?

Two;
Already answered.
One;
Only time will tell.

And now it seems
my words are at
an end.

I've given you my
thoughts, my
answers, my
words.

And now...
It's your
Turn.
