Memories of yesterday,
Memories never go away,
Memories of before you departed,
Memories of you broken hearted.
Memories of a better time,
Memories of back when you were mine,
Memories of a clear blue sky,
Memories of you being nigh.
Memories of that dreaded day,
Memories of when you went away,
Memories of how I felt inside,
Memories of how I used to hide.
Memories of my broken soul,
Memories of my heart no longer whole,
Memories of your untimely leaving,
Yet to make the memories of forever grieving.
Memories of your gentle kiss,
Memories, oh, how I'll miss this,
I know that somewhere in time you still exist,
But until the day I see you again,
I'll just have to reminisce.
Wow this is a wonderful poem I feel the pain and the hurt here it touched my heart for just last year on the 14th my friend took her life and I still miss her alot so this poem hit me hard great work 5/5
