Dear Gram (final)

by InvisibleHourglass   Jan 23, 2009

You taught me things i take for granted
Things i now stare at enchanted
You taught me how good the sun feels on my face
Summer days you refused to let me waste

You taught me how good blueberries taste when i've picked them myself
and even better when added to pancakes made by yourself.
You taught me just how unconditional love can be
even when you disagree

You taught me how laughter cures all
and after i laugh the sadness i can't recall
You taught me just how important a few simple words are
words you've said while we were alone in a car

You've taught me the depth of thought
i think back on all the things you've taught
You've taught me how hard it is to forget
and how to live without regret

I love you gram

**completely different from the original, but i like this better.**
