Your Insides

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Jan 28, 2009

Spray painted hatred lies against your inner walls
and abandoned thoughts roam endless halls.
Darkness trickles from your very finger tips
and lies, like chap stick, coat your tender lips.

The sparkles in your eyes are only your spirit's holes.
You close those eyes each time the dice rolls.
You have painted me a rainbow of beautiful lies
and it reappears each time rain pours from the skies.

Fake smiles are drawn daily upon your sick face
to help liven the illusion and to hide your disgrace.
Grow me a garden and pick out for me a rose.
Poison me with toxic fumes of which no one knows.

Take away the music notes and feed my ears silence.
Everything appearing peaceful is simply disguised violence.
Hypnotize my senses into something that's not real.
Take everything that should be there and make me not feel.
