Run

by Sapphire   Jan 28, 2009

Running sets me free,

The relief to my prison called life

I feel mother nature's windy comfort

Holding onto me

Blowing through my hair, slowing me down,

Yet making me stronger

Wish I could run forever,

And feel every tear

Leak into every step

I love running, but never thought to write a poem about it. In the army, 1/3 of our Physical Training Teast is a 2 mile run, right now i can do it in about 13 minutes. thank you, that put me in a good mood for the day.
