You walked into my life
Swooping me off my feet
Eliminating all strife

We had a great run
We went over and beyond
We were once so strong
And had an amazing bond

You gave me the world
And I gladly took it
You were ready with a ring
I wasnt ready for this commit

I thought I loved you
But everyone else saw other wise
"your heart just wasnt in it
We could see it in your eyes"

Reality hit me
Life is short why live a lie
Forcing myself to be in love
With the wrong guy?

I know I broke his heart
But you cant please everyone
He is still soaking in our past
While im wanting to move on

Ive been in his shoes
With people from before
I know his pain
But im still hesitant to just ignore

I am a good person
But that doesnt mean I had to stay
I wish him the best of luck
And him to get over us one day...
