Secret Life

by Bugg   Jan 30, 2009

You dance without a care,
Soft wind blowing your hair.
Deep, haunting eyes
Filled with dark lies.

He was your one and only,
Said he was feeling lonely.
Looked into your secret life,
Introduced you to that knife.

Slice by slice, you fade away,
You need it more each day.
He only wants you to be happy, girl,
Just wants you to be his world.

He dances without a care,
Softly touches your hair.
Watches his love being lowered down
In this sleepy drift away town.

**No, it's not supposed to make sense. Maybe a little bit, but not much. lol

I'm confused by this poem, but i feel sad reading it. it's really good though, don't get me wrong. i liked it! "He was your one and only, Said he was feeling lonely. Looked into your secret life, Introduced you to that knife."
i understand it until you get to the part about him introducing the knife. who is he? maybe explain the connection a little more that you have to this person so it could clear up confusing things to read. but great stuff! :)
