Loves Breath

by Extinct Angel   Feb 8, 2009

An angels first breath
From the morning mist
Can hope spring eternal
In true loves kiss

Enduring sensation
Through out the soul
My heart beats rapidly as if on fire
Love burns deep like coals

So many times I wish
To lay my eyes upon your face
The years go by
Feelings are in this race

For what is love but an emotion
No longer feeling pain
Only happiness
May Loves breath remain

It's been such a while since you last wrote anything but this is such a great poem with such depth and the style was much different to your usual genres. None the less as always it's great to read something from you.

"For what is love but an emotion
    No longer feeling pain
    Only happiness
    May Loves breath remain "

^^ I truly love this part of your poem. It spells so much of hope and passion for love to continue and yet at the same time provides the message that like all other things love too is still a feeling.

Amazing work that deserves nothing less than 5/5!
