That Dangerous Feeling Called Love.

by Mister 47   Feb 10, 2009

It seem that everyone these days are being sad
Some are stressed and some are feeling bad

Most of them blame the angels and the heaven above
They blame God for that dangerous feeling called love

You know, you can always close your eyes on me
So you don't see things you don't want to see

But you cannot close your heart for those things you feel
So you search to blame God, maybe your scars will heal

It is sometimes easier to blame others for our mistake
For the feelings we wanted to be true, but turned to be fake

Yes, a tear drop is nothing in a sea filled with endless rain
But as it drop, it can touch your soul and cleanses the pain

For you out there, you know, love can break you apart
But if you are lucky enough, he can glue back your heart

It is always a fact that for the old scars and the hurt we hold
We make new loves pay for mistake made by an old

What hurts is when they take your heart and they cut it
It is when you can feel the break, and you cannot stop it

Life taught me that nothing will hurt more than goodbyes
And the saying that feelings can be replaced by words is all lies

Memories will always make you cry, no matter good or bad
And pictures can never replace that time we once had

Amazing poems.. Shares all the thoughts that I keep thinking over and over again..
I believe that this thing called love is something that we will never be able to figure out.. But if there is something that I have learned is that we should not be sad that people leave us.. That just means that they have served their purpose in our lives, they have thought us new things.. When the right time comes the right person will come and that is somthing worth waiting for, worth all the pain we have to go through to get there :)

    Here goes :]

'It seem that everyone these days is going sad
Some are stressed and some are feeling bad
Most of them blame the angels and the heaven above
They blame GOD for that dangerous feeling called love'

First of all, I liked the simplicity here, it works, it sounds almost phonetic. 'Going sad', however, doesn't make sense, as the verb, subject agreement is absent. But that is the only I think I can pick up on critically. Also, why is God capitalised?

'You know, you can always close your eyes on me
So you don't see things you don't want to see
But you cannot close your heart for those things you feel
So you search to blame GOD, maybe your scars will heal'

This was sweet, except how does one 'search to blame'? I liked the third line, really really nice. It made me feel quite warm inside haha :].

'Yes, a tear drop is nothing in a sea filled with endless rain
But as it drop, it can touch your soul and cleans the pain'

I think it should be 'cleanses' the pain, because you can't clean it xD.

'Life teached me that nothing will hurt more than goodbyes
And the saying that feelings can be replaced by words is all lies'

Life 'taught', not teached dude, but I like your flow and structure here man, it's quite like an inspirational poetic quote.

The last line of the poem is so true, and I think we all can relate.

    Well done

    Moucha:)

A lot of what you say is true.
I particulary liked the part where you said we make our current lover pay for what the ones before him/ her did...because we often do, even if it's only unintentionally.
Love should be all about starting with a clean slate and no looking back;)

Good, thought provoking poem, my friend!

    Hugs,

    5/5 Ingrid
