Inky memories

by NewVesuvius   Feb 17, 2009

Do not speak,
for words are ink in water
blackening the sacred moment
in your eyes
and swirling frivolously into mine.

Let it be, let it shine;
I'll make your perspiration dance
upon the vast uncharted canyons
that I long to leisurely discover

for as I unavailingly recover
these words are nothing but the black in water
until I painfully allow my mind to think

And then, my friend, there is water in this ink.

    Great way of putting that - words ruining the moment. It's interesting and clear. Glad to see you back, volcano man.
