This one is very different, very interesting though.

    Such beauty in your sadness
    Glassy blue eyes
    Quivering ruby pout
A softness only pain can bring

this stanza is outstanding and also

You make me want to love you
    Hold you
    Immortalize you
With the tip of my pen

    loved your imagination....very wild.. :)

all the best and take care

What a wonderful piece. The imagery is awesome.

    No ink
    No colour
    Could truly hold your form
    It is selfish

These lines are so true...because how do you capture the beauty and love of a soul.

    A want to preserve
    Just one small piece
    Something tangible
    Beyond this body

Wonderful ending. I have really enjoyed reading this piece.

Such a deep and thought provoking write! Congrats on the win!

I love the images of the sadness, shadows and sketching.....how sometimes art is unable to capture the moment, capture the emotion we see with our eyes.....how vulnerable each of us is, so many feelings invoked with this one! Nicely done!

    This was absolutely breathtaking.

<A softness only pain can bring> this played out very well in my mind, and I can imagine how this must feel. The feelings you've employed are stupendous, and really a joy to read.

    <A want to preserve
    Just one small piece
    Something tangible
Beyond this body> BEAUTIFUL! :) I loved that stanza. Something about it just sparked something inside me, and I felt like reading your poem twice. It's wonderful. Really, it is. :)
