Flower

by timmy   Feb 21, 2009

This flower is all I have left of you now
As its pedals break making but a sound
Feeling as if his love has died
Even his best friend won't make him survive

All your colors are fading to gray
If you could cry I bet you would right away
A heart you wish you had would be on the ground
Probably in pieces broken and worn down

Just lay in your sanctuary which you thought was home
It's just a fray of everything I've ever known
There's nothing wrong about dying here now
Let life flow on and take its course please

Any minute now... you'll finally drown.

That's an amazing poem, but you have one grammatical . You wrote "pedals," instead of "petals." Pedals are on a bicycle; petals are on flowers.
