It's not right, but it's okay (Contest)

by Teria   Feb 23, 2009

It's not right but it's okay.

Her heart beats silently
but I hear it from yards away.
Her voice cries quietly,
whimpering as it screams.

No one could bare the pain,
nor the thought of losing her.
And considering everything -
it's not right but it's okay.

We've been here before,
she's captured the moments.
Fearful of death,
yet joyful for life -
it's the time that counts
and we mustn't waste it.

She's made me smile,
and sometimes cry.
More so I laugh,
that she makes me try.

She's held us together
and this could tear us apart.
But, it's not in our hands
and it's not right but it's okay.
