Murderer

by FaithHopeNLove   Mar 11, 2009

Arms entangled
chests pressed together
rhytmic pumping
a power struggle.
They cry out in unison
but his pleasure
masks her pain.
His violence
drowns her plea
his cruelty
kills her innocence.
He finishes
and throws her aside.
She looks up at him
with spite filled eyes.
He pulls up his pants
as she reaches aside.
Gun held in hand
she aims at his head.
He begs and pleads
but she doesnt listen
he didn't
so why should she?
She pulls the trigger
and blood flows free.
The indefinite pool of red
is the last thing she sees
as she falls to her knees
her eyes, wide open
black as night,
empty and cold.
Innocence lost,
blood spilled,
a life taken,
and he walks away.
To see another dawn
to live another day
and relish in the knowledge
of all he takes away.
