I've Got Your Cure.

by Larry Chamberlin   Mar 23, 2009

59 and body hurts?
I've got your cure.
15 year-old fractures?
I've got your cure.

How do we let these petty aches
Dictate our movement - stifle
The freedom of 5 decades
Lock us in air-pump boots?

Can't stand up straight?
I've got your cure.
Crippling joint agony?
I've got your cure.

Stuff the chondroitin;
Glucosamine sucks wind
And takes weeks to effect
Relief enough to feel.

Got a body that quit?
I've got your cure.
Deal a better hand?
I've got your cure.

Your cabinet: Amber liquid's
The stuff to make it go away.
Black Jack, Mescal & Rum.
The cure is worse than the pain.

Want to forget?
I've got your cure.
Die an early death?
I've got your cure.

    by Daisy if you do

So many times we think our body aches so badly from age. The medicines prescribed don't help much but there are things out there that can cure it like you mentioned. If they don't believe it I am sure there is PROOF. (pun intended)
Sometimes people don't realize that the alternative to pain is pushing up daisies.
    Great write. Take Care, Kay
