Forgetting is a Reason

by Ayumi   Mar 23, 2009

Forgetting is a reason, teacher
Because the truth is what it is
It may not seem right, sure
But would you rather us lie about this?

What do you expect us to say?
Sometimes we make mistakes too
I say, "To err is human," if I may
This certainly has happened to you

You might as well admonish us
Because we can't go back to the past
What do you want us to do; make a fuss?
Or sweep the floor, is that a must?

Forgetting is a reason, teacher
Don't make it sound like it's on purpose
You yourself have done it once, I'm sure
So why not think about it first?

School sucks, especially when you forget something! My English teacher is out to get me. Teachers 80% of the time just cause unnecessary stress!

Teachers can be so unreasonable sometimes! so full of themselves and whatnot!

anyway, nice read! made me laugh a bit, thinking back about all the school work i forgot to do...and i'm still forgetting to do.

    oh, one thing,
What do you expect us to say?
    Sometimes we make mistakes too
I say, "To err is human," if I may
This certainly has happened to you

what does "To err is human," mean?
