Failure Of Joy

by ADEL   Mar 24, 2009

I am winged to the listless cloud

from the steaming weakness of sparks

sear lighting the blackened laze

of restless seats and ruined parks

therefor sits the circled haze

down a loss of lolling arcs

I am orphaned to the green mothers

from the chopped children of trees

sway waving the bleeding wars

of bleating fathers and weeping seas

therefor swim illness and sores

down a cry of homeless please

I am blued to the reddish hell

from the raying virtue of curses

bless crowning the sacred suns

of blanked books and crippled verses

therefor kneel the forced nuns

down the feat of obscened nurses

I am fostered to the obscure jungles

from the branched dreams of woods

stretch spearing the timbered land

of dyed herbs and duplicated buds

therefor strays the statued sand

down a nest of stoned broods

I am crocodiled to the water's teeth

from the shapeless bite of tears

flow sewering the shabby pains

of quietened scream and coughing fears

therefor deepen the pessimist rains

down my thirst of dry years
