O, Why Did I Let You Go?

O, why did I let you go?

The way you smiled at me so sweet...
you looked as if you'd just eaten a lemon...

O! The way you shook your hips!
As if they weren't in fact attached...
as I often wondered myself,
until upon further look I discovered they were real...

The way you would speak!
That smokers cough more endearing
than a rabid bunny
How delightful was that raspy cackle!

And the way you smelled!
like elderberries was your heady smell
that so often assaulted my nose...

O, why did I let you go?

I imagine it had something to do with
your hermaphroditic attributes...
perhaps that you were more interested in my sister....

But I will still never know
why I let your far too slimy hand go to his....
