Visible Writing

by Aubrey   Apr 14, 2009

To write a poem on my wrist
Would tell you of the many things I miss
To spell my pain out in crimson red
Could tlel you things I've never said

To write with a blade so sharp
Tell me where do I need to start
Do I need to map my entire mind
Even though I'm scared of what you may find

To write until the blood runs dry
Will tell you of my final goodbye
To scribble down words of a broken heart
Though I don't know where to start

To write with inspiration in thought
Of all the things I've already fought
Hits and scratches visible through sight
Of many times I've put up a fight

The scars are getting thick on my arms
As you see my own self harm
Cutting more each and every night
Losing sense of the dimming light

I could carve a million feelings
Of every day I dealt with these dealings
Pushing the blade farther in
Making the permanent marks in my skin

Hiding my poem underneath my sleeves
Depression marks worst than thieves
A poem never meant to be read
Of all the things i've nevre said.

Hey, oh, my god this poem was amazing. I felt all of the emotion in it. I loved it. I understood it all...every word. Don't give up ok. I'm always here to talk if you want that.
