Meeting Friends

by Eden   Apr 21, 2009

One minute you are happy
And in this blind ecstacy you ignore your instincts.
You think meeting new people can't be all that bad
Until your eyes are awakened and the totallity of the sun's bright luminescence peeks through the clouds and exposes your new friends for who they really are.
Lays bare the lies they've told when you began to test their truthfulness.
Listen to your guts when it comes to meeting new people.
And if you make that simple mistake that most people do, and discover that the people you thought could be friends can never change,
Then there is no loss in cutting out the drama...
Live a peaceful life,
But continue to learn the knowledge of life
And experience its beauty.

Far too often the wolf hides in a sheep's skin. Remember, you're true friends are the ones that are with you when you can't be with yourself. Another good piece. Keep it up!
