The ruse of spring

by anonymous lover   Apr 23, 2009

Lovers are like flowers
when summer time begins,
showing all their beauty
bee's heart it nimble wins.

Hormones going wild
after snow has melt away,
behaving like a child,
you didn't see him for day!

A mask of bashful smile
all left upon one's face,
staying for a while
cause he has crossed your pace.

A roller coaster ride
if pined for or maybe not;
no one without a ticket
although it wasn't bought.

This is the ruse of spring
that happens once a year
some trying to compete it,
realize: no way to steer.
