Look A Little Closer (Licentia Rhyme)

by Jenni Marie   Apr 27, 2009

Forever and always, something that we swore
Knowing no one can break our perfect rapport
In your loving embrace, feeling so assured
Since we met it's so obvious I've matured
Longing for that day we pledge eternity
For curled up in your arms I'm in ecstasy
Love you more each day, that's something I can't help
What I feel for you is something never felt
Long to stay with you always, head's in a spin
Been waiting so long for our life to begin
Forever and always, something that we swore
Knowing no one can break our perfect rapport

In your loving embrace, feeling so assured
Since we met it's so obvious I've matured
Keep it in your mind, loyal I'll always be
Even though there'll be times when we disagree
Know to have you in my life I'm truly blessed
Hurts when you're gone, guess I'm a little obsessed
It'd be heaven if only you could see
You're my everything, you mean the world to me
Difficult to describe way I feel inside
Whenever you're near I get this funny vibe
Forever and always, something that we swore
Knowing no one can break our perfect rapport

Longing for that day we pledge eternity
For curled up in your arms I'm in ecstasy
My emotions growing every single day
Hoping that you can see my joy on display
Feeling something that I've never felt before
Isn't it clear, that you're the one I adore
Whenever we're together, world fades away
Got me feeling every kind of love cliche
Falling for you was such a pleasant surprise
But look closer, you'll see the love in my eyes
Forever and always, something that we swore
Knowing no one can break our perfect rapport

I loved this poem! It makes me miss my wife, I can almost hear her voice when I read it hehehe. Now I miss her even more after reading this poem hehe, but I guess that shows how good of a piece this is.

Excellent write, maybe I'll try writing using this form. Keep it up 5/5.

    Take care,
