Leave

by Scrittore   May 4, 2009

These hours on the clock just won't pass
Tick, tock, tick, tock as the seconds drag
And I feel as if I am drowning but my body won't die
As I wait for the end, the end of my whole life
I know that my own iniquities has caused the slain
The pureness of our love that we could not maintain
The world now dividing us from the Divine love
As we sinned against the father above
I can never forgive myself for leaving that stain
I know that till the end of life it will always remain
Remember, if our right eye sins the Lord commands
The removal of it so that we may enter into his land?
If I truly love you then now I must leave in haste
So that you might worship the Lord all of your days
