Mother

by TAYLOR   May 5, 2009

I wish you would just grow up, act you age,
so you feel more like my mother and less like a child.
I run to you with tears in my eyes, school was a drag and I need your hugs. You laugh in my face thats your suggestion of a hug.
I cant have an adult conversation with you, for that I turn to my younger sister.
When you said "At my age you shouldnt have to be a mother anymore" I shrugged it off because I thought u were only trying to make a joke.
Until now I realise you really wish you wernt a mother.
I look up to you now....as an example...of what not to be.
