Hi Sheena. Thank you! I wrote this for a friend. His name is JEFRED. See his name formed by every first letter of every line.

      God Bless.

    This is beautiful.

The stars in our night skies are so beautiful also.

Yet I would not wish to be one.

From where we view they seem so close, almost touching. Yet they are so far apart !

I believe everyone of us is a star.

Sometimes it's such a shame that we are so static.

    Thought provoking poem.

I find myself watching the night sky quite often especially when I can escape to the country. The sky is so much clearer and the stars so much closer, I almost feel as one with the glowing crystals.
A lovely well written poem that can take readers like me on a sentimental journey ha
"Eavesdropping to faint prayers whispered to the wind" a great line that adds real depth ... a great read ...

A wise meerkat once told me "They're fireflies, stuck up there in that great big blueish black thing."

    (Lion King reference)

    Loved it.

Beautiful poem. Close to what I feel when looking up into the night. I love to stargaze. This little poem catches that spirit nicely.

When I read this I think of all the times when I would run to the field near my mothers house and just lay down and watch the stars at night. this is simply beautiful and very well written. I can see the stars now just by your description.
