Forsaken In The Night

by Poetic Tragedy08   May 13, 2009

If we stopped tonight
Than where would we be?
If we were unable to find our lives
Where would we begin?

I'm trying to take you in
But my body is rejecting the thought
I can't stand to see my thoughts waste
But when it's on you, its all I sought

Your mind isn't the only one racing
Mine is fighting off all my urges
If I stopped tonight, where would this be?
Nowhere near a heart of surge

Let me explain my mind in a sentence
You're every thing I want
You're everything I need
So why do you grasp? Why do you taunt?

This is my heart
Forsaken in the night
I'll drive forever
And out of your sight
