No Jesus Christ

by Some guy done with college   May 20, 2009

Our savior was ourselves
we died for our sins
as written on the shelves
by men filled of gin

we died to open our eyes
to the light covered over in darkness
and our hearts inside
filled with true innocence

we fed our people
and healed their sickness
and with our minds feebled
rid of our diseases

our story was told
by the figure of a man
and so the story goes
it is by our demand

*Not meant to offend anyone...just a poem i thought of*

This poem is so true. it was more than jst one person to get things the way they are and still, we make it slanted. This is a really good poem. Ima favorite. 5/5
