Encrypted Heart

Hello everyone, I think I'd like to make a confession
My hearts not worth much, it's like our recession

I'm sure that there have been many others that wrote like I
none of them have been dead on the inside, cause love makes you feel alive

I sometimes wonder about those in the past
if they were the best I could have had?

I'm not entirely sure if that is something that should even calculate
I'm hard to get to know, so if you have a question please don't hesitate

If you're wondering what this exactly is and who this is for
then it's not intended for you, of that you can be sure

the one who knows this poem will certainly have felt my pain
shared in my loss and forgiven me and I've done the same

I wish I could write this poem to have a happy ending, but it wouldn't be true
cause love only exists in fairy tales, but that's just between me and you.

    I liked the complexity in the poem. When I said complexity I wasn't talking about the flow, structure or usage of words. I was referring to the first line addressed to everyone then getting into specific person then turned out to be a lover. It was somehow dramatic which I feel is needed in order for a writer to express fully what's in their minds. I’ve read some of your poems in the past and this is yet another amazing piece from you...

    I can really feel the emotion in this poem as if it was written after a fresh wound. I reminds me of my own disappointments in love and the sudden crash that often comes with falling into trap cupid has set
