Faces Of Love ( Duet with LJ Roodt)

Faces Of Love ( Duet with LJ Roodt)

Inside mother's womb the tiny fetus grows.
How his parents anticipate his arrival,
only God and fellow parents can know.
Their love is his sole condition for survival.

Face to face, entwined by a delicate first kiss,
with passionate lover's eyes, two hearts sing in revelry.
The rose of adore arises, sharing absolute bliss.
For only a treasured love shall sing for all eternity.

Through our veins our shared history flows,
ancestral love and protection is what we uphold.
By incidental looks and laughter tenderness shows
to share with our loved ones, those memories untold.

Kindred spirits rejoice in a platonic bond,
untouched by family feuds or lovers quarrels.
Sharing passions and new ideas far beyond
time and space or society's accepted morals.

Within the shelter of forest peace does reside.
Rhyme of the ocean invites us to a slow dance.
Sun and rain our aid to let emotions subside,
nature makes us feel God's love in abundance.

The crisp morning breeze passes beneath my feet,
unforeseen dreams blossoms with joy inside of me.
A given life of choice, glorified with each heart beat.
For the love of life itself, embraces what's left to see.

Well what i like about this poem is it's overall meaning on love. This stanza i can surely relates to "Inside mother's womb the tiny fetus grows.
How his parents anticipate his arrival,
only God and fellow parents can know.
Their love is his sole condition for survival". You said it all here. This brings memories of some passing time. I am sure every parents who desire their child passes through this process. Very well done you two, 5/5, hugs, kel.

    -love for our soulmate
    -love for family
    -love for friends
    -love for nature
    -love for life itself
