Breeze Of Grace

by Meena Krish   May 29, 2009

The delicate morning yawns
awakening the world with her beam,
yet another day is born
and promises arent far to reach.

Sparrows upon the mighty oak
twitter a melody of possibilities,
yesterdays failure they cloak
urging wishes to spread its wings.

Yellow roses lace the atmosphere
an incense for rising souls,
life breathes without a drop of fear
a sense of renewed hope ignites.

No storm can rupture this placid day
or chase away dreams that wait to grow,
an unfaltering heart humbly prays
walking in the breeze of Gods grace.

    What a beautiful poem

    The delicate morning yawns
awakening the world with her beam,
    yet another day is born
and promises arent far to reach.

This stanza I get a feeling of hope. That this day may turn things around and bring smiles to a sad soul.

    Sparrows upon the mighty oak
    twitter a melody of possibilities,
    yesterdays failure they cloak
urging wishes to spread its wings.

What a beautiful picture your words paint for the readers mind. Very uplifting.

    Yellow roses lace the atmosphere
    an incense for rising souls,
life breathes without a drop of fear
a sense of renewed hope ignites.

You can feel the hope building and the fear moving to the background. Great imagery and word choices.

No storm can rupture this placid day
or chase away dreams that wait to grow,
    an unfaltering heart humbly prays
walking in the breeze of Gods grace.

The ending is awesome. There is no better place to walk.
    excellent!

What a beautiful line this is, it really brings the poem together, just a suggestion how ever, in the last line in stanza 1, get rid of that puncuation mistake that this site has yet to fix, it`ll make the poem look better. I really enjoyed this poem a great deal, Timothy r
