For Ana

by Krista   Jun 15, 2009

A smile that could melt even the toughest,
square glasses tilted slightly to the side.
Laughter that fills the air whenever you entered,
a single cross hanging from your neck.

That slim scar tracing your collarbone,
reminding you of all the pain you suffered.
Dusty brown hair, tied up in a single band,
almond eyes lit up in happiness and delight.

You'll forever be remembered,
locked in our hearts and souls.

---For Ana, who passed away on June 13, 2009 after the sedatives given to her during her liver transplant took too much of a toll on her, causing her brain to swell. She died of brain complications shortly after. We'll always miss you Ana. <3

    Krista,

They say God always call the ones He loves most back earliest. I know this to be 100% true. All the people I have known that died early were special in some way or the other. They had a sort of angelic quality to them.
We do not know how much time we have, sweetheart..no one knows. They have these scales with averages ages upon which men and women die..but what do they really tell us? For this reason I always tell people to be good to one another and not waste one moment on doing bad stuff. Make each second count, life is so precious:)

I am sorry for your loss, dear girl. May your Anna rest in peace.

    * tight hugs*

Wonderful dedication to her Krista, it was indeed very emotional. Keep up the good work.

    A prayer: Amdist sacred ground,
I pray to thy whom lies amongst us.
May you rise up to the heavens above,
give your love and watch down on all.
Hold hands with those whom grieve
and erase the sorrow that lies within.
    Encase happy memories with lace
and draw smiles upon our face.
May the Lord be with you always,

    Amen.
