maybe? possible?

With eleven days of school left

maybe we could be

something beautiful

with no one to ridicule

or ask why

with no one

but ourselves;

we�ll have no one

to look our way

and whisper

and wonder

and maybe

if just for the summer

we could be

beautiful�.
