Wishing, Waiting, Writhing, Wasting

by jarrod   Jun 30, 2009

Stare hard,
when piercing my soul.
Hidden deep,
quietly lurking,
are sleeping secrets.

Carry on wishing,
waiting,
writhing,
wasting,
but I won't tell.

Maybe I'll drop guard,
I'll let some slip.
Always wanting,
but you'll never know,
and I'll never tell.

Carry on wishing,
waiting,
writhing,
wasting,
but I won't tell.

Secrets die with me.
When at last,
I endlessly sleep,
there will be whispers,
but only of wonder.

Carry on wishing,
waiting,
writhing,
wasting,
but I won't tell.

I enjoyed this, it was very mysterious. I like the way you never really reveal what the secret is...excellent!
